Carey Vadeboncoeur - Director, Plant Operations
Carey is responsible for all aspects of Granny’s Blumenort, MB, plant, including production, health and safety, human resources, maintenance, quality assurance and supply chain. She has held this position since 2008.
She brings 20 years of experience in food manufacturing to the job, including quality assurance and plant operations, garnered while with Burns Meats, JM Schneider and Maple Leaf Foods. Her expertise in inspection comes after two years with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
Carey holds a degree in Food Science from the University of Manitoba. She loves Granny’s boneless, skinless chicken breasts cooked on the barbeque, no matter what the season.
