Current Opportunities in Our Corporate Office
Finance
Granny’s finance department handles accounts receivables and account payables from our major retail customers. Additionally the finance team manages our cooperative requirements and distributions to our member producers. Finally, as Granny’s is a major processor and employer, our finance team manages the day-to-day accounting of our high capacity plant and busy head office.
Sales
Customer service is a high priority at Granny’s. Our Order Entry desk receives and enters orders into our system from our corporate clients which are then transmitted to our plant for completion. Coordination between our Sales and Procurement departments is a constant balancing act that requires good analytical skill and a high degree of product knowledge for our staff.
Marketing
Working in close conjunction with our Sales department is our Marketing department. Their primary focus is on spreading the word about Granny’s top quality poultry while marketing new products to customers throughout Manitoba.
Information Technology
Our Information Technology department has the responsibility of ensuring our servers both in Winnipeg and in Blumenort are running smoothly. Programmers and Analysts work together implement new programs and software and are responsible for the conversion of our current system to a new, dynamic program in 2010.
Leadership & Organizational Development
Our human resource department has expanded into Leadership & Organizational Development where training and employee leadership are planned and implemented for the entire company. Complimenting this area is Payroll who manages the payment of wages for the plant, hatchery and head office locations.
