LEAD HAND – SANITATION

 Work Hours:  10:00pm-6:30am, can vary depending on production

 Reporting to the Supervisor, the Lead Hand is responsible for the cleanliness of the assigned areas of production while working toward the success of the organization’s strategic goals.

 Qualified applicants will have the following:

• Ability to train others
• Ability to follow established safety practices and ensure preventative maintenance programs are being followed
• Ability to work well within and promote a positive team environment
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
• Grade 12 education or equivalent 
• Working knowledge of HACCP and GMP, or willingness to take required training
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement in the workplace
• WHMIS certified, or willingness to take required training
• Previous leadership experience would be an asset
• Previous experience in a production environment considered an asset
