Honey Garlic Meatballs
Lean ground turkey breast in this honey garlic meatball dish.
Ingredients
| 2 lbs |
ground turkey Granny's Lean Ground Turkey Breast |
| 2 cups | beef stock |
| 3 | cloves garlic, minced |
| 6 tbsp | cornstarch |
| 1/2 cup | dry breadcrumbs |
| 1 | egg |
| 2/3 cup | honey |
| 1 tbsp | oil |
| 1/2 cup | onion, minced |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| 3/4 cup | soy sauce |
Directions
In large bowl mix together turkey, onion, egg, breadcrumbs and salt. Form into 1¼ inch (3 cm) meatballs. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Fry meatballs in batches and cook until no longer pink inside, turning to brown on all sides; drain on paper towel. Place meatballs in casserole dish.
In medium saucepan, combine beef stock, soy sauce, honey and garlic. Whisk in cornstarch. Bring to boil over high heat; stirring constantly until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and pour over meatballs.
