Lenay Gutoski's Cooks Creek Maple Mustard Turkey Nip

Ingredients

500 g or 1lb Granny's lean ground turkey thigh
Granny's Lean Ground Turkey Thighs
1/4 cup / 65 ml white onion, chopped
1/4 cup / 65 ml dried cranberries
1/8 cup celery, diced
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tsp rosemary, chopped
1/2 tsp sage, chopped
1 egg
pinch salt
pinch ground black pepper
1 brick Bothwell Gouda
1/4 head red cabbage, thinly sliced
1 bunch green onion, sliced
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup onion, grated and sauteed in the butter
1/8 tsp cayenne
1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Directions

Directions

Preheat grill.

Form burger mixture into burger style patties...3/4" thick.
Grill patties 5-10 minutes per side on an oiled grill or until a thermometer inserted into the patty reads 175ºF.
Apply generous slice of Bothwell Gouda for last minute of grilling.
Drizzle with Sassy Maple Mustard Sauce.

Serve on toasted crusty bun or crostini with thinly sliced red cabbage and green onion.
