Turkey Drumstick Cassoulet

Ingredients

4 turkey drumsticks
Granny's Turkey Drumsticks
1 cup onion, diced
2 tbsp garlic, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup red wine
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup chicken stock
1 can (19 oz) romano beans
1 bunch Swiss chard
1/2 tsp sea salt
to taste fresh ground black pepper

Directions

Brown drumsticks in a deep frying pan over medium high heat then set them aside.

Saute onion and garlic until translucent, then deglaze with red wine.

Add tomatoes, stock and seasoning and stir. Add drumstick back to pan and simmer with a loose cover for about 15 minutes.

Add swiss chard and romano beans and cook until drumsticks are done; about 10 minutes.

Serve with fresh cooked pasta and parmesan cheese.
